October 15, 2024 - LAST DAY TO PURCHASE ........Modesto City Schools provides families optional Limited Technology Coverage (LTC) at a non-refundable cost of $20 per student and is available for purchase once per school year until October 15, 2024. Starting October 16, 2024, the optional Limited Technology Coverage will no longer be available for purchase. LTC is effective the following day after purchase.
The LTC covers one lost or stolen device per school year. Without LTC, if a computer was lost or stolen, a $425 fee will be incurred to the student's account. If a device is willfully damaged, a $425 fee will be incurred to the student's account regardless if the optional Limited Technology Coverage (LTC) was purchased or not. Lost or stolen power adapters are not covered by the optional LTC. If a power adapter is lost or stolen, a $20 fee will be incurred to the student's account.
